Prompt and prepare the AI trading agent

Create the AI trading agent in this web app and complete the prompt flow until the AI trading agent is ready. Once saved, it will appear in your list and be available inside the AI Strategy Engine.

Train and review in AI Strategy Engine

Open the AI Strategy Engine on your computer, connect it to your account with the Connection Key, select the AI trading agent, and run training. When training finishes, review the results, charts, and trade-level details before you deploy.

Deploy and connect MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor

After you choose the agent you want, click Deploy and connect MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor to the AI Strategy Engine with the deploy token.

  • Install the EA in MetaTrader 5, then open `Tools -> Options -> Expert Advisors`, enable `Allow WebRequest for listed URL`, and add the exact address `http://127.0.0.1:18765`.
  • In the EA settings, set `LocalAppURL` to that same exact address: `http://127.0.0.1:18765`.
  • Paste the strategy `dep_...` token into the EA `DeployToken` field so the EA connects to the correct deployed AI trading agent.
  • Keep both the EA and the AI Strategy Engine running on the same computer while the strategy is active so the EA can request signals directly from the app.
Demo trading accounts are strongly recommended while validating the full workflow. Start with signal validation first, confirm terminal connectivity and EA behavior, then move forward only if you are comfortable with the full setup.

Current workflow is Windows + MetaTrader 5 on the same computer. Keep the AI Strategy Engine and MT5 Expert Advisor versions aligned when you update.

MT5 Expert Advisor Parameters

LocalAppURL — Base URL of the local AI Strategy Engine signal server. Default: http://127.0.0.1:18765
DeployToken — Deploy token of the agent you deployed in the local app. Shown above each deployed agent in the strategy card.
PrimaryBrokerSymbolOverride — Optional MT5 broker symbol override for the strategy's primary instrument. Leave blank to use the current chart symbol.
LiveTrading — Set to true to execute real trades. Set to false for signal-only mode (shows signals as chart comments without trading).
AdoptSignalOnAttach — Set to true to allow adopting one current pending signal when the EA first attaches. Default false keeps stale-signal protection strict.
MarginAllocationOverridePct — Override the strategy margin allocation % used for position sizing. Set to 0 to use the strategy setting.
MaxLossAtStopOverridePct — Cap the lot size so a full stop-out loses no more than this % of equity. Set to 0 to disable.
StopLossOverridePips — Override the strategy/signal stop-loss distance in pips. Set to 0 to use the strategy/signal stop loss.
TakeProfitOverridePips — Override the strategy/signal take-profit distance in pips. Set to 0 to use the strategy/signal take profit.
In MT5, add the LocalAppURL under Tools → Options → Expert Advisors → Allow WebRequest for listed URL. Run MT5 and the AI Strategy Engine on the same computer.
